Mexican immigrant Jose Luis Bonilla spent over twenty years building his colossal, hand-made 'Mexican Disneyland' in the heart of California, only to abandon it after permit and legal problems. He did, however, succeed in creating and leaving behind a monumental folk art masterpiece that stands tribute to his cultural heritage and audacious dream, and which embodies his Horatio Alger-esque belief: ‘In life, you have to think big!’
